New, common, and still finding them in my change as a cent. Exchange rate is still relatively high at 1 euro to 1.27 U.S. dollars.
The mint and privy marks are bold on the coin. I can only assume they repunched them while keeping the old fading dies. The rest of the design looks flat, it was hard to get a good image.
Here are the stats...
Type/Country: 2 Euro Cents / France
Year: 2012
Mintage:
277,668,000
Metal: Copper Plated Steel
Value: $0.05 in VF

I have a penny that was struck with only 1/2 of the reverse and obverse showing. It does not show the mint mark or the date. Van you put a price on it?
