Canada cents I had saved up, found a 1955 NSF in about VG/fine

About $85.00 it should be verified in hand.

I assumed VG and gave the lowest average value, yours sold for $180 meaning it either is a higher grade or you are great eBayer.

At the time I quoted $85.00 the average auction values were low now they average $140.00 in VG and $160.00 in Fine. Now with this sale I see the trend is going higher.
Things the seller did right:

1. Posted clear shots of both sides
2. Posted the I in DEI that shows the variety clearly
3. Has a 100% positive feedback rating
4. Coin looks higher than VG

This response makes me so happy since I am always worried that I say something is high value and someone tried selling it and it got little to no value. This is the reason I tend to take the low range of values. Please understand these value I say are the least you should accept (at that moment in time) and if you are a good seller there is no limit to what you can get.

Is This How You Collect?

Got this 2010-D dime in my change and it has no extra value. It also looks bad compared to the one that comes in an official mint set. So why bother? Simply it is how I collect.

Well if that is how this kid decides to collect it is great.

I collect by trying to get every unique coin from my change. Yes that means every penny, nickel, dime, or whatever. It does not matter if they are circulated or recent or dirty. Start getting one of each I dare you. Just with post-1965 coins you should have a several hundred coins to try and find.

You do not need any prior knowledge of coins or currency to eventually see patterns. Like U.S. cents and some older coins do not have the mint mark P. Also some coins are harder to find. Even that getting sharper newer-looking coins are better than dirty worn coins.

 

I will add that the possibility are not limited because they are circulating coins. People have found ancient, world, silver, obsolete, errors, promotional, and even gold coins while collecting circulating coins. Value should be a secondary thought, this is the hobby of kings and should be enjoyable.

From now until the New Year try and get one of every uniquely common coin from your change. If at the end you find no pleasure in owning 100 quarters from different states or parks or pennies ranging from 1944 to 2011 or getting a weird token or foreign coin then cash them in. No loss and it is a good way to save for after Christmas bills.

I still have not found a 2009 nickel of any mintmark. Although along with this dime I did find a 1941 nickel, again.

3. Price value of pennies 1995? Only if MS-65(near perfect) or more $0.25.
4. How much is my 1912 Indian head silver nickel worth? No such thing but a Liberty is $2.00 in good.
5. 1941 Canadian penny? $0.10 in very good.
6. 1944 penny value? $0.10 in very fine.
7. Denver mint 1971 cent error? Sure it is possible, common even.
8. 1944 wheat penny US value? $0.10 in very fine, buyer price is $0.02.

78. How much would a 1944 penny cost? Free from your change or $0.01 cents on eBay.
79. Value 1964 Canadian penny? $0.10 in MS-60.
80. What is the value of a 1853 dime? Good is $16.00 with arrows, $50.00 no arrows.

81. 1935f blue dollar? At least $3.00 in very fine.
82. 1990's 20 dollar bill worth? $20.00 its too soon.
83. 1941 dime value? $1.25 in fine.
84. Mercury head silver dime values? They average $1.00 in good.
85. 1944 one cent penny? Again $0.02-$0.10 in good.(Sigh.)
86. 1944 penny? Ditto.
87. How much 1890 penny worth? $3.00 in good.
88. 5 dollar bill collectors edition with red print? It is not an "edition" but made from 1928-1963.
89. Liberty walking dollar 1943 value? No such thing but the half dollar is $5.00 in fine.
90. Price check on old pennies? $0.02-$0.10 in good can only go up from there.

91. 1944 w mint marked dime? Not a mintmark it's the designers initials A over W.
92. 1982 error dimes? Yes they exist mostly copper-nickel plating problems.
93. Price of old dollar bills? They start at $1.20.
94. 1952s penny? $0.10 in good.

96. 1952s penny? Sounds familiar $0.15 in good.
97. $20 bill series 1969? At least $50.00 in CH CU.

100. Why 1944 so much? Over 2 billion were made and people falsely think there valuable.
