2001 Netherlands 2 Euros

Have a Netherlands coin and want to know its value? Leave a comment

Now I remember why I did not originally take close up shots of certain coins yet I still posted them. The reason is mostly because they were hazy and my close up camera skill does not help the overall look.

Like I said back in 2006 this was a stranger find,. Often when you see a tourist struggling with change if you offer to help you can always gently ask/hint if they want to trade some of their native money.

The obverse has twelve star in the outer ring and the Utrecht privy mark of wine tendril with grapes. BEATRIX KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN 2001 or Beatrix Queen Of The Netherlands with her profile.

The edge has GOD * ZIJ * MET * ONS * or GOD * BE * WITH * US * incused on the reeded surface.

The reverse has 2 EURO and the first Euro Zone map with stars and a little LL for the designer Luc Lucyx.

Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 2 Euros / Netherlands
Year: 2001
Mintage: 140,500,000
Metal: Bi-Metallic Brass center in Copper-Nickel ring
Value: $4.00 in UNC (Currently $2.45 in exchange value)

Do you have a coin from the Netherlands and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.

2 dollars worth, for Comments/Questions click here.:

Got these as gifts the other day: http://img41.imageshack.us/slideshow/webplayer.php?id=012lkv.jpg
The Canadian Dollar is dated 1973 and has Ottowa above the date. Also, I am wondering where the date is on the 1 Pound Bill. Or are they not dated? Finally I have some other 1 Pound notes their serial numbers are:
78J 368007 This one has 84+36=12 (someone forgot the 0) over the watermark. Other than that it is in the same condition as the bill pictured.
The next one is 14B 698781 and is in the same condition as the bill pictured.
The last one is 64L 312615 and is in the same condition as the bill pictured.
Now that I have left what I'm pretty sure is the longest comment I've ever left on your blog I would like to know all of their values. Thanks!

The Canadian Dollar is dated 1973 just $1.00

--They are not dated, you can only find out the year printed by looking up Chief Cashiers name, denomination, and the design. But even that is not 100%.

1 Pound notes their serial numbers are:
--I am not a Pound note serial number expert so I can only judge the photos.
