2011 Gettysburg Quarter

Do you have a quarter and want to know its value? Leave a comment

This is the sixth America the Beautiful quarter since they began in 2010. But wait where is the fifth? I have not found the Mt. Hood quarter.

It happens. Often coins roll in one after the other as they are released and then suddenly there is a gap. Still a nice find half way through 2011.

Gettysburg is where about 51,000 soldiers died. The battlefield became a place where veterans would gather and eventually it became a park. From horror to honor.

Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 25 Cents-Gettysburg / United States
Year: 2011-P
Mintage: 30,800,000
Metal: 91.67% Copper 8.33% Nickel
Value: $0.25 in F-12

Do you have a coin from America and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.

16 dollars worth, for Comments/Questions click here.:

Heya, I found thirteen Canadian nickels with King George on them in the till at work today, and I was wondering if you could tell me if there's anything special about them??

They're from 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1948 and 1951.

Thanks in advance! :D

Canadian nickels

1937 about $0.25
1938 about $0.30
1945 about $0.10
1946 about $0.10
1948 about $0.40
1951 about $0.10

None are special except for the fact they are old, still a great find.

Hi Mann
Is it me or do the America the Beautiful quarters hairlines see worn out to me.Unlike the state quarters the hairlines are well struct these seen like they are stuct through greese.

I have to agree.
All have very weak hairline but the Grand Canyon quarter seems to be the sharpest struck.

I think it has something to do with the reverse design they maybe off balance. Or they are reusing the obverse die more often.

I have a penny year 197 with no 4th digit D, i also have a 1911 and 1912 wheat Penny, no mint in good condition, and a 2002 D Tennesse Quarter that has a noticeable gold color on the head side, and regular color on the back. and a Dime with 200 no 4th digit D.
What are these worth?

Thanks.

penny year 197 with no 4th digit D
--Sounds like a Struck Through Grease error, no extra value.

wheat Penny no mint in good condition,
1911 about $0.45
1912 about $1.25

2002 D Tennesse Quarter that has a noticeable gold color on the head side, and regular color on the back
--Sounds like someone tried to plate or color the coin, if the weight is normal then no extra value.

Dime with 200 no 4th digit D.
--Sounds like a Struck Through Grease error, no extra value.

No such thing.

Either some type of Die Break error or a fake. In both cases no extra value.

I suggest putting clear images online for others to judge in case it is something else.

how much do you think the private party value is for a 1614-1914 The Commercial Tercentenary of New York "exposition" Tiffany & Co design coin?

If you ask me, the Gettysburg quarter is priceless. I am distantly related to James Gettys; the founder of Gettysburg.
