2004 $50 Bill, EC-A

Have a fifty dollar note and want to know its value? Leave a comment

The first of the colorized fifties. When I first saw it I thought one thing...sherbert. It looks like rainbow sherbert. Pale pink, orange, and purple make this look like Monopoly money. With this update to color the U.S. finally caught up with the rest of the world in terms of money security.

If you have the ability to save a $50 bill I suggest you do as the trend has been to make less and less of these each year. The current series of 2009 was last printed on October of 2011. In the U.S. $20 bill are the popular notes and as technology gets better cashless is preferred by a growing young population.

Here's the stats for this bill...
Type/Federal Bank: $50 Note / Philadelphia
Year: 2004
Printings: 22,400,000
Printed: January 2005
Run: 6th of 7 from EC16000001A - EC19200000A
Value: $55.00 in Crisp-Uncirculated

Do you have currency and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.

6 dollars worth, for Comments/Questions click here.:

At least something to look forward to in 30 years for the U.S.
