2008 Canada Nickel

Have Canadian nickel and want to know its value? Leave a comment

From the bunch of nickels found last week this is one of last. It is also the closest not from half way across the Earth like China or Australia.

Also got a 2004-P Canadian nickel which is odd since I found my first one just two weeks before so no reason to re-post that coin.

Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 5 Cents / Canada
Year: 2008
Mintage: 278,530,000
Metal: 94.5% Steel, 3.5% Copper, and 2% Nickel
Value: $0.05 in Extra-Fine

After a bit of Canadian drought last week made up with a mini flood of coins.

Do you have five cents from Canada and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.

10 dollars worth, for Comments/Questions click here.:

I have a nickel from 1938, with King George V, on it. Is that worth anything?

My sister found a 3013 Canadian nickel with a forget me not flower in the queens hair? Any ideas of this coin and where it might have come from? Prototype or test coin?

Done outside the mint as a novelty, no extra value.
