Statehood quarters are the most collectible current coins in the market. Error coins are the newest of the collectible trends. Combine them both and you got something special but is it valuable.
I found this in my change about a 2 years or more back. It is a South Carolina quarter 2000P with an off-center error.
Obverse
When I first found it the only reference I had was the back of the U.S. Coins Red Book which at the time listed it at $150, today's Red Book has it for $175 but this is for 20% off center. I bought a guide book on errors and it showed how to measure your off-centerness. I estimated this coin at no more then 15% without being 100% sure.
Recently I stumbled upon a site http://error-coins.com/ that I could ask better experts than me to evaluate this and a copper dime. The site admin said this...
The South Carolina quarter looks to be about 10% off-center. It's worth around $50.I trust this judgment.
The copper dime is still an unknown error so I'll blog about it later when I can weigh it.
Back to error quarters there are 8 common types of error and depending on the state and rarity affects the value. If I chose to sell this the same time I found it I could have gotten more due to low reporting but as more are found the value went down. This always something to think about with error coins.

Sounds like a Missing Clad Layer error about $150.00.
I found a Canadian quarter from 2008. One one side there is the queen on the other no picture it just says Canada 25 cents 2008. Is it a fake quarter?

Sounds like a special collectors quarter made with a colored painted Occasion like birthday or trophy.
Unfortunately the enamel paint tends to fall off and it loses nearly all the value, still about $0.50.
I have a 1999 Georgia state quarter. One of the nines is filled with a perfect little round of nickel.
Have you seen other reports of this error?
And, do you have any ideas about its value?

Not sure what you are describing a picture would be helpful.
Found a 2003 missouri state quarter mint mark D. Very shiny and no copper on the edges. Looks silver but doesn't sound like other silver coins when dropped. Plus with a D mint, it cannot be silver. I am not sure what to make of it. Is it an error or maybe plated? Not sure how to tell the difference.

Most likely plated.
The only way to make sure is to weigh it with a 0.01 grm scale.
I have a Rhode Island state quarter that is a grease strike through causing the entire state name and half of the date that they became a state underneath leaving only a "ghost" image. It's fully readable, there's just no metal there. The rest of the coin looks fine. Can you give me an idea of what it could be worth to the right collector?

I have a 1976 bicentennial quarter the obverse side is shiny but the reverse side is dull looking with no shine at all, but the color is almost gray but about the same color as the obverse, with some shiny parts like the hat and arms why? Is this a missing chad or just a dull looking reverse?

Sounds like it fell in acid without an image I would just say damaged.

I have a New Hampshire State Quarter. Its shape is irregular, it is slightly raised on the left side (doesn't lay flat), it has ridges around the edge, the edge has copper color all around and you can make out only certain words and images, the rest of the quarter is blank silver. Does anyone still comment on here? Found out trying to search online for answers, so i decided to try this site and see if i get a response! I have a 2000p virgina quarter that weights 5.98 grams.... what the heck could this be? No one seems to know?! I also have a 1987 quarter with reddish/brown spots covering the quarter, so much that you can hardly make any of the writing on the quarter out. There are no ridges and it weighs 5.22 grams... what could this be?!
