2001 $5 Bill, CB-A

Have a five dollar star note and want to know its value? Leave a comment

No fooling this is a common note.

Yes all old federal notes are still legal tender, even some non-federal notes are still legal to use. On this day dedicated to pranks be aware that the U.S. may stop issuing some notes ore coins but they are still legal even if the value exceeds face value.

Now this one I am featuring is nice but hardly valuable or rare. Yet because it lacks the color of modern notes some people are suspicious. Ten years changed the currency enough to make some people forget the older notes.

Here's the stats for this bill...

Printed: October 2002
Run: 12th run out of 15 from CB70400001A - CB76800000A
