I got several squished pennies from the American Museum of Natural History and one from the M&M store. So knowing this someone gifted me this album to store my new collection. It comes with a New York elongated cent embedded on the cover.
This is a tri-fold album that can hold 36 pennies and 6 quarters, squished of course. This one is for New York but if you go the pennycollector.com site you'll find dozens of choices. They are $7.60 each plus s&h.
I don't have any squished quarters so I just put pennies where in place. While this isn't my true collection it still falls under the category if numismatics.
I probably won't fill the album especially since New York has hundreds of squished penny machines.

I have a 1934 D $5 bill, #S05845597A with a G2107 in the lower right corner. I almost gave it to MacDonalds accidentally before I noticed that it looked odd. Is it worth any more than five bucks?

There are 2 varieties a "wide" and a "narrow".
Yours is the wide it is about $10.00. The narrow is worth twice as much.
Thanks you gave all the right info to figure out what bill you had.
I must get one of these for my son he loves squished coin. I think he just like the idea of a coin being squished, completely change plus the first one he got had dinosaur on it.
Yeah going to the machines and squishing the penny yourself is the best part.
That PennyCollectors.com site has a list of all the machines around the country.
I got this in a handful of change from a Slurpee purchase at 7-11. It's either a 2001 or 2007 D dime, I can't tell because the last digit is too light to be read. The back is the right color, but the front is copper. It's thinner than a normal dime, leading me to believe it's missing its front cladding. Never having seen something like this, I was wondering what it's worth. Here's a link to a picture: http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/1963/dimelx3.jpg

First thing to do is weigh it. It should weigh less then 2.27 grams.
It looks real and it would be a Obverse Clad Layer Missing error. The missing last digit is typical in a real error.
The streaks are odd but if you get it authenticated it would be about $125.00.
i have a 1920 silver dollar. what is it worth?
1920 silver dollar
