My most recent find was this 1 dollar Jamaican coin. It is dime sized and was given to me as such after a purchase. This is 1996 Jamaican dollar, the fourth I found in change.
This example is among the worst I got. Usually the are so bright and unscratched that they would grade BU(Brilliant Uncirculated). This example is low grade maybe Fine.

This is my 27th Jamaican coin I found in my change. Most of these coins were found in recent years, there has been a surge in Caribbean coins in NYC and a big downturn of Canadian.
The oldest Jamaican coin I found was a 1975 10¢ coin.
The most valuable Jamaican coin I found was a $20.00 coin from 2000 it's valued at $3.00 in uncirculated condition.
The Jamaican coin I most frequently find are the dollar coins, I found 17 of them all returned as dimes, despite the 7-sided shape.

Bleach off the original Fed. Stamp and the copy the same stamp on using a printer.
If you suspect it may be a true error get good clear pictures of the note on both sides and one more of the actual error. Put them online somewhere and share the link here and for other currency collectors to evaluate.
I have a coin that has United States of America, an eagle perched on a shield with 11 stars and 6 vertical stripes, and the year 1930 one one side. On the other side, it says filipinas, five, and a portrait of a man sitting on something. The type of denomination is faded beyond recognition. I am just wondering what kind of coin this is.

It is a Five Centavos coin from the Philippines when they were under the American rule.
It's about $0.60 in good grade which what you described.
I have the same thing but my coin is slightly misaligned. When you line up the front and turn the coin the back is off just a bit. Is that how the coin is suppose to be or was it a misprint?

Slight Misalignment is an error but so common that it has no extra value.
I have a 1992 Jamaican 1 dollar coin. It looks like the one at the top of the page, except it is perfectly round and its gold looking. It has Sir Alexander Bustamante on the front with the dates 1884-1977 under the picture. The back has the shild with the two people on each side and says Out Of Many, One People.
