Yes, Canada does both zinc and steel coated cents at the same time.
This allows them to buy the cheaper metal at any time while still keeping coin circulating.

This is tough.
These were never released for circulation and I have not seen them at auction.
They have no value listed in all the books.
It is a key coin but I do not know what they are currently going for. If forced I would say about $5.00 but it could be much more or much less.
I will keep on looking the current trades and auctions but for now keep it safe just in case.

there were only 3 -5 colon silver coins minted---a man at the central bank ask canada to make 3 samples-so when they got to el el salvador this man and 2 friends there each took one and told canada later they would not be ordering any--these are very very valuable as only 3 were made so the man told me,hold on to this coin if it is original and not conterfeit

Nice story but with out a year or coin details I cannot tell if it is a real coin or not.
