1994 British 5 Pence
Another simple British five pence that I got as a dime. It has not even been that long since I got another British coin, they are still my number two foreign find behind Canadian coins.
Not in the best shape but the exchange rate is currently 1.54 pounds to 1.00 U.S. dollars so it is worth more than face value. Unfortunately less than the dime I thought I got.
Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 5 Pence / Great Britain
Year: 1994
Mintage: 93,602,000
Metal: Copper-Nickel
Value: $0.10 in VF (very-fine)

2013 France 2 Euro Cent
The newer French euros have the pentagon mint mark and less accurate mintage reports. I assume they as common as the rest and have no extra value.
Nice coin got it as a cent a while back. I seem to be falling behind on posting but I think that may change. Pun intended.
Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 2 Euro Cent / France
Year: 2013
Mintage: Not yet known
Metal: Copper Plated Steel: 94.35% Steel 5.65% Copper
Value: $0.05 in XF

2013 British Penny
Apparently for 2015 they have changed the queen's portrait again. This 2013 penny has the 4th portrait. The new 5th portrait has the queen looking elderly, which is not a bad thing just accurate.
While I do not know the mintage of this coin I think they are still pretty common. Historically British coins are common and since their economy is good there is no need to scale back production.
Here's the stats...

Year: 2013
Mintage: Not yet known.
Metal: Copper-Plated Steel
Value: $0.02 in VF

2003-G Germany 2 Euro Cent
I am have a hard time tracking all the German coins that I blogged about. Generally I keep track of the most commonly found coins. For the last ten years I rarely found German coins but the last two years I found a bunch. I think I need to properly track them.
Again German tourists and their economy are the major reason that is the most popular euro coin in our change. None of these euros are rare or valuable but still there a many to collect since they have multiple mint marks.
Here are the stats...
Type/Country: 2 Euro Cents / German
Year: 2003 G
Mintage: 311,800,000
Metal: Copper Plated Steel
Value: $0.05 in VF

1958 Canada Cent
I am pretty sure this is a 1958 Canadian cent. It is damaged on the date so I cannot be certain but it looks like an 8 on the last digit. No big deal if it is not because the value is pretty low for most 1950s Canadian cents.
Oddly enough the front is pretty nice but when taking the value of a coin both sides are considered. Only in very old or very rare coins does the front and back get graded separately.
Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 1 Cent / Canada
Year: 1958
Mintage: 59,385,679
Metal: 98% Copper, 0.5% Tin, 1.5% Zinc
Value: $0.02 in damaged

1999-P New Jersey Quarter
It seems like yesterday that I was waiting for the first state quarters but it has been 16 years. I am not actively pulling them from my change but occasionally I do keep one or two.
Maybe if this summer gets slow I will try and get all 1000 state quarters that are officially circulating. Well not all 100 since I have posted about 9 so far. Just 91 more to go.
Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 25 Cents-New Jersey / United States
Year: 1999 P
Mintage: 363,200,000
Metal: 91.67% Copper 8.33% Nickel
Value: $0.25 in F-12

2014-P Great Sand Dunes Quarter
This is not a repeat from yesterday it is the Philly version of the Great Sand Dunes quarter. Of the two quarters this is the less common, although both are common, I found them on the same day.
I have been getting a lot of quarters lately, mostly because I stop paying with exact change. These quarters still have no extra value but collecting them is getting more difficult because there are so many.
Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 25 Cents - Great Sand Dunes / United States
Year: 2014-P
Mintage: 159,600,000
Metal: 91.67% Copper 8.33% Nickel

2014-D Great Sand Dunes Quarter
I never heard of the Great Sand Dunes National Park before finding this quarter. Apparently this Colorado park has huge sand dunes, wetlands, tundra, and more typical park sites. Sandboarding is a thing and I assume it is huge there.
On the reverse is a father and son enjoying water and sand. In the background are the sand dunes and a mountain behind them.
