2002-D Germany 10 Euro Cents

Have a German euro and want to know its value? Leave a comment

From the mint in Munich (D) this is one of last German Euro ten cent coins. Not sure why but they stopped issuing ten euro cents in 2004. Although the 2002 tens were minted in vast amounts.

The Brandenburg Gate is on the reverse and is a proud and sad symbol of a once divided and now united Germany. It is a very neat and proper coin I just wonder was it ever popular. I found very few of these in my change.

Finding this German coin was great although it was not really in my change. Instead I found it in a Coinstar machine rejection tray. Still counts for my collection but technically I have yet to find any foreign coin other than Canadians in my change include a recent 2001 cent that I will not showcase again.

Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 10 Euro Cent / Germany
Year: 2002-D
Mintage: 722,050,000
Metal: Brass
Value: $0.15 in Very-Fine

Do you have a Euro coin and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.

29 dollars worth, for Comments/Questions click here.:

I found a Utah state quarter that might have a die error? The designers initials or signature that is on Washington's neck is replaced with a blob of metal, as if the initials part of the die had been worn down. I'll try to get a picture if you would like, but do you have any idea if this is common and what it could be worth?

I recently found two foreign coins and a stamped penny at the coinstar machine. It's kind of habitual for me to look at them as I walk by, for whatever reason.

Sounds like a die Break error, pictures are not needed.

In circulated grade with part of the design missing about $2.00 or less.

If this is part of a series of breaks then to that collector trying to find that specific break it may be worth more.

Well what a great habit, sometimes their is silver in those trays but any cool coin that is not sticky should be considered great.

Most cents from 1934 to 159 are just about $0.15 each in circulated grade.

92,98,99,00 for am's
1992 Close AM is about $20,000
1998 Wide AM is $10.00
1999 Wide AM is $100.00
2000 Wide AM is $5.00

1970 "s" mint mark penny in amazing condition
If large Date about $0.35
If Small date about $70.00

1963 penny that looks literally modern about $0.30

Most of the rest you mentioned have no real extra value.

Not really possible.

I suspect someone turned the 8 in a 1983 cent into a 6.

Possibly fake.

Struck through Grease Error the mint mark was probably blocked by dirt at the time of minting it is common among early quarters.

the 1963 thats off weight is literally the shineiest penny ever theres not a single scratch on it at all or would it be possible to remove without any wear? like it looks uncirc.

You can pay for grading coins at PCGS.com you may want someone like a coin dealer or coin club to look at the coins for free.

Possible but I would recheck the weight and also get good pictures of date to see if anything is off.

2.10 grams is very underweight could possibly be an error, is there a way you can get clear images?
