Finding British coins is becoming common but they are still great to find. This one is common and I got it as a dime.
Not much of interest in the British 5 pence coins for the 1998-2008 series. Of all the smaller British coins the 10 pence coins are the most difficult to find but not impossible. These coins were made with the same metals as U.S. coins so they are easier to find in our change than newer British coins made of steel and cheaper materials.
Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 5 Pence / Great Britain
Year: 2002
Mintage: 219,258,000
Metal: Copper-Nickel
Value: $0.10 in VF (very-fine)
