Most Ridiculous Reason the Canadian Government Given for Eliminating the Cent:
"Given its declining purchasing value, some Canadians consider the penny more of a nuisance than a useful coin."
-Seeing how I still roll pennies to buy food with I find this hard to believe.

Honestly, none have any big value. I have no good varieties so that is also a minus.

Sidenote: Nova Scotia: 1861 Nova SR 1 Cent (not counted above since it was turned into a love token)

this is driving me crazy. i was just at the bank and they have these sheets of uncirculated 1968 canadian silver dollars. they are 5 packs and they are in a row. they are in the same packaging as the 2012 uncirculated coin set is in.
how much are they worth and have u heard of these 5 packs from the mint?

Well these just seemed to be packaged by an outside company.

You can buy or pay a company to repackage coins, they usually do it for cheap for cheap coins and sell for high prices.

These if mint state are about $2.50 but the package does not add value since it is not original.

Thanks, realistically in America we will still find Canadian cents in our change for a few more years but I can see a point when they stop showing up.

I would need the serial number and series year for each to evaluate.
