There are no 1975 United States quarters because of this commemorative piece.
Years in planning the U.S.A. bicentennial celebrations was a big deal. Even recently there were fire hydrants around my area still painted red, white, and blue for the occasion. In 1973 the mint announced that the quarter, half dollar, and dollar coins will be designed by citizen artists via a $5,000 contest. Eventually three designs were chosen and plans to cancel the same three 1975 coins, make silver versions, and issue a new two dollar bill became reality.

This quarter was meant to be issued over a two year period with more than 800 million issued. So unfortunately these are not rare and even in high grade they are very common and worth very little.

How much is a 1944 copper penny worth?
My 1776-1976 drummer boy quarter is much different than any I've read about or seen on any quarter for that matter. For starters there is no edge lip on either side. The flat edge on the side all the way around is the solid copper color you usually see on the edge just not line dividing the silver and copper color. Also everything on this coin is overly pronounced. George Washington's head on the front side sticks up higher than usual as if it were double stamped on top of each other. The edging where the lip should be on the back side is incredible looking it's perfectly smooth and runs right off the edge of the coin all the way around yet all letters are visible and my favorite part about it which is why I think this coin is so different is that the drummer boy appears like George Washington's head. Everything about his shape body hat arms drumsticks and drum as well pronounced it's rise higher than most but yet there's no detailing at all and his muscles the drum has a totally different design such as a smooth flat ring around the top where there should be small lines around the drum he has no face at all only two eyes the rest of his face is rised up higher than his eyes but perfectly smooth it looks exactly like he has a bandana wrapped around his face. The e pluribus unum is well pronounced but mushed together so you can't hardly read pluribus. The word Liberty on the front side is also double stamps if you would like to take a guess or maybe know exactly what I have here I would love to know I got this quarter today at a dollar store all getting change back from the clerk. It's got a beautiful silver shine color to it and looks to be solid silver George Washington face has absolutely no detail whatsoever in the hair or face but everything is just so pronounced I would love to upload a picture if you could let me know how to go about doing that thanks

I have a 1776-1976 P Bicentennial mint set that has strong Doubling on the Quarter, the Kennedy Half dollar and the Eisenhower Dollar. They all exhibit doubling in the "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the Quarter has doubling in “Liberty”. These are still in the original package.

I have researched a lot and couldn't find anything. I have a 1776 quarter and on the back side is clearly excess metal over the center line of the E. That makes the E look like a c with a blob of metal just printed on there some how. I have a bicentennial D error with the top side of the drum front is missing from the strike one sold in 2017 for 7,000 in a MS65. Mine isn’t graded but it’s the same mint, same error as that one that sold in 2017. It’s a DD on the obverse with the blob D and the reverse has the messed up rim on the drum. Would love to get it in a collector hands.
D mint bicentennial quarter error with the DDO blob D and the reverse has the drum that’s messed up with the missing top side of the rim. One with the same error, same mint graded MS65 sold for 7000 in 2017, mine is ungraded would love it to go into a collection and get graded wts for the right price.
