2015-D Nickel

Another new coin dated 2015. Nearly double the amount of Denver nickels are being made compared to Philadelphia ones. I am guessing the cold winter here in the east has slowed down the economy enough that small change is not in high demand.

No change in design or update to speak of for this coin. I found a few of them at the same time so I think it was a new coin roll that was just opened.

Here's the stats for this coin...
Type/Country: 5 Cents / United States
Year: 2015-D
Metal: 75% copper 25% nickel
Mintage: 238,560,000 as of April 2015
Value: $0.05 at F-12

Do you have a recent nickel and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.

8 dollars worth, for Comments/Questions click here.:
