2006-P Canada 5 Cents

There are three varieties of the 2006 Canadian nickel and of course this is the most common. The P indicates it was made of two-ply steel.

The copper-nickel coins were stronger and had less scratches although these are shinier. None of the varieties are rare so I will probably find them eventually.

Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 5 Cents / Canada
Year: 2006-P
Mintage: 139,308,000
Metal: 94.5% Steel, 3.5% Copper, and 2% Nickel
Value: $0.05 in Extra-Fine

Do you have five cents from Canada and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.

3 dollars worth, for Comments/Questions click here.:

I have a 1942/1943 double stamped wheat penny. The 1943 date is stamped at a 45 degree angle, just above and to the right of lincoln's chin (it's not reversed). This date is a much lighter strike than the 1942 date. Also, there is light striking of lincoln's head at the same angle behind his head. The reverse (wheat side) is also lightly double struck at a similar angle. Its copper(doesn't magetize). Can you place a value on this coin? It's rarity, etc.
