This is the most common of the 1985-1991 Singapore 10 cents series. They increased production because by 1992 they changed the series slightly. Got this as a dime but it still has equal value.
Singapore is trying to stabilize the global economy by complying to banking rules. Currently the Singapore dollar is $1.25 for every U.S. dollar.

2007 Poland 20 Groszy
This is one of the last years that accurate mintage numbers were given for 20 groszy coins. Since 2008 no productions figures have been officially released. Still the ease of finding them suggests the are common.
This one had a fairly large production and by all indications they kept making them in high numbers the years since. Polish coins can dip to low amounts but they generally still have little premium value.
Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 20 Groszy / Poland
Year: 2007

Metal: Copper-Nickel
Value: $0.20 in VF

2002 British 5 Pence
Finding British coins is becoming common but they are still great to find. This one is common and I got it as a dime.
Not much of interest in the British 5 pence coins for the 1998-2008 series. Of all the smaller British coins the 10 pence coins are the most difficult to find but not impossible. These coins were made with the same metals as U.S. coins so they are easier to find in our change than newer British coins made of steel and cheaper materials.
Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 5 Pence / Great Britain
Year: 2002
Mintage: 219,258,000
Metal: Copper-Nickel
Value: $0.10 in VF (very-fine)

2011 Canada 10 Cents
Simple Canadian dime that exists in only one circulated version, as far as I see. Common and not in perfect shape so not much to celebrate except for the fact it is new to my collection.
Not the sharpest picture since the platform I was using kept moving. Lately I have had little time to take pictures. Add to that limited sunlight for winter and my pictures have been few and far from sharp.
Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 10 Cents / Canada
Year: 2011
Mintage: 292,325,000
Metal: 92% steel, 5.5% copper, and 2.5% nickel
Value: $0.10 in Extra-Fine

1944-P Wartime Silver Nickel
One of the more common silver nickels and I found two of the at one time. The pictures below are the best side of each coin. The bad sides has green stuff and the other one is peeling but they are still silver.
Silver is still relatively low so these are still about $1.00 each in metal value. I still need to find the other seven to complete my set. Surprisingly it is getting easier to find them now than before just in poor shape.
Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 5 Cents / United States of America
Year: 1944-P
Mintage: 119,150,000
Metal: 56% copper, 35% silver, and 9% manganese
Value: $1.05 in F-12

2004 Switzerland 1 Franc
This is one of the rarest francs of this series. Unfortunately that means little since at over 2 million made it is still common.
Typical design from the Swiss with the Helvetia name that confuses some people.

Year: 2004
Mintage: 2,026,000

2009 Israel 2 New Sheqalim
It has been six years since I found a decent Israeli coin. I have seen a few in the wild but never had a good chance to trade for one. Luckily I found one in my change as a nickel.
Like Canadian coins Israeli coins have dozens of commemorative issues and varieties. There is normal issue like the one above and a Hanukkah version for most coins. They also celebrate events and stories on their coins so some coins are difficult to read to non-native readers.
Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 2 New Sheqalim / Israel
Year: 2009
Mintage: Unknown
Metal: Nickel Plated Steel
Value: $2.58 in XF and current exchange rates

1997 British 20 Pence
There are varieties in the size of the portrait but none seem to have extra value.Since I only have this one example I cannot tell if it is the smaller or larger portrait or possibly some other variation.
If I find another I will do a image comparison since in hand all these coins look the same.

2002 South Africa 2 Rand
For a while there during the early 2000s South Africa kept changing their national arms. Not sure why but that made for coin series that only lasted a year like this one. Most are still common.
Given to me as a quarter in my change I think this coin is one of the few foreign coins that has a decent exchange value. It is about $0.17 but that is closer than most other countries.
Here's the stats for this coin...
Type/Country: 2 Rand / South Africa
Year: 2002
Mintage: 12,000,000

2003-P Canada 5 Cents, Uncrowned Portrait
Like most Canadian coins there are more than one variety of this one. This one has the new effigy of the queen which shows her as an older lady without a crown.
Once again this is the more common version and has no extra value. Every time I think I get closer to finishing a Canadian coin series I see that more varieties exist.
Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 5 Cents / Canada
Year: 2003-P
Mintage: 61,392,180
Metal: 94.5% Steel, 3.5% Copper, and 2% Nickel

2006-P Canada 5 Cents
There are three varieties of the 2006 Canadian nickel and of course this is the most common. The P indicates it was made of two-ply steel.
The copper-nickel coins were stronger and had less scratches although these are shinier. None of the varieties are rare so I will probably find them eventually.

2000 (2543) Thailand 1 Baht
Another common baht from Thailand. These are among the most difficult coins to post since the year is hard to read, at least for me. It is also fairly common so it has little value and varieties that exists are also common.
This is the older series with the younger portrait and the copper-nickel metal which will soon be rare in modern coins.
Type/Country: 1 Baht / Thailand
Year: 2000 (2543)
Mintage: 468,610,000
Metal: Copper-Nickel
Value: UNC $0.10
I still have about 40 coins from last year to post so it will be a while before I show off new coins.
Do you have Thai coins and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.
