2007 Greece 5 Euro Cent

Do you have any world coin and want to know its value? Leave a comment

Finally a non-Canadian world coin. This is the latest it ever took to get a true foreign coin.

Sure Euros are among the most common finds outside the U.S. and Canada coins but this is only my second Greek Euro I have found.

The obverse features a freighter which I guess modern Greece is famous for but I do not really associate that kind of boat with them.

Type/Country: 5 Euro Cents / Greece
Year: 2007
Mintage: 55,005,598 (estimate this may change)
Metal: Copper Plated Steel
Value: $0.10 in Fine

Do you have any foreign coin and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.

13 dollars worth, for Comments/Questions click here.:

It looks like an oil tanker. Greece has a large crude carrier industry which went sour during the recent global recession, and can be attributed to why their debt went out of control.

Good to know I heard of Onassis and his ships but I didn't think it was that big.

Found some world coins under a tree this afternoon (honest!). They are all in rough shape, so I can imagine that they wouldn't have any collector value. I have:
2 pence coin, 1987
Australian half-pence, 1951
Kuwait coin 1990, denomination uncertain, maybe 1 10?. Has a two masted ship with slant-y sails on it.
Korean? (looks like Korean characters on it), can't see any denomination. Golfer at the top of his swing is pictured. Might not even be a coin, but it looks coin-like.
Again, they are all in rough shape, so rough that I wonder how they got that way. If one person "lost or tossed" them I can imagine they were quite the traveler or military.

2 pence coin, 1987 about $0.03

About $0.03 10 fils no 1 fils were made

--Does not sound like a coin probably a token with little to no value.

Not possible to have random letters stamped on U.S. notes.

This is a bank stamp done by banks after printing. No extra value.

I have a coin I bought at a Goodwill (on a necklace) for $1. On one side it reads "EMPEREUR NAPOLEON II" with the bust of (I would assume) Napoleon, and the other side reads "TOMBEAU DE NAPOLEON 1" with a picture of a tomb and the date 1853. Any info? Thanks.

From what I understand it is not coin but a token or charm, it is likely from 1853 but there are many varieties floating around, it is about $1.00 unless made of silver then just metal value.
