Time for the boring end of the year stats.
First for all the coin/currency books that have come out with the new editions this year they are useless as an upgrade. If you don't have any coin/currency books you still may want to get the previous editions to save money.
Now to the coins lets start with a dull bar graph showing the 40 coins/currency I found from 14 different countries.
Spain came in number two.
Australia, Bahamas, and Bermuda tied for third place.

Most Valuable Find(above face value)
1996 $20 dollar star note in VF about $22.50
Although I found more coins then I ever have all of these coins were of little value. Most were just face value and those above face were just a couple cents above. I wouldn't say it has been disappointing just not spectacular.
At the end I found 65 pieces making it the most since I've started tracking these things. Still a good chunk of that is due to all the U.S. varieties for 2009.

About $5.00 there are at least 5 varities all have similar values.
i have 2 $10.00 bills from 1950 they have a flag flying the wrong direction? to the left? are they worth anything?

No they are correct.
The flags are waving in the wind and to some people it looks odd but they are normal.

Sorry my fault, I will read more carefully next time.
This sounds like a weak strike or struck through grease error.
If only the date is missing and all other words and features are sharp it has no extra value.
If more letter and design aspects are missing on both sides it could be a die adjustment strike worth a few dollars.
Hi. I recently purchased a couple of off center pennies and some colonial coins at a flea-market. This stuff obviously came from a collection; one penny is a 1951 about 75-80% off center; the other is a 1952-D 10-15% off center. Grading on the cheap holder says EF+ for both. The colonial coins are from Virginia, and a few variations from Massachusetts, including 1776 Massachusetts commonweatlth. The pennies are obviously real, but I am somewhat concerned about the authenticity of the colonials, as they are in very good condition. If they are indeed real, I know some varieties can be quite valuable. Thanks so much for your help.

Without dates, descriptions, or a picture I can't tell. Try either getting good pictures or bring htem to a trusted dealer to do a quick verification.

My question is: How come it is signed by George P. Shultz as Secretary of the Treasury, when this guy actually came into that office only in 1972...
It is in crisp condition, but not uncirculated. Any idea of the value ???

Because the bill was designed in 1969 and when adding a new signature they add a letter A,B,C,....
So for Shultz who was on office from 6/72-5/74 they changed the note and made a 1969-C note.
It is about $25.00 in crisp.

There have been 22 of this variety found the most famous is very rare worth $125.00 in good.
Most of the others are $1.00 but some are a little more you have to get it graded to know what variety you have.
