1974 Canada Cent

Do you have a Canadian cent and want to know its value? Leave a comment
Nothing special to see here but I feel I must post something coin related before September 11.

Found in my change with a few older nickels but nothing to write about. I have a summary on Canadian coins that I want to share but that may take some time due to my new schedule.

Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 1 Cent / Canada
Year: 1974
Mintage: 692,058,489
Metal: 98% Copper, 0.5% Tin, and 1.5% Zinc
Value: $0.02 in F

I did enjoy the pictures taking with a borrowed camera, lots of nice color and contrast.

Do you have a Canada coin and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you

13 dollars worth, for Comments/Questions click here.:

Thanks both of y'all, but it is all the camera it was a Canon A1000 I borrowed it to see if I would buy myself one.

I don't like the way it shoots fast moving stuff but still shots are great.

Hi, long time no post.
I got some coins i found, could you tell me if they're worth anything?
1. I got a 1998 US Winter Olympics coin, on the back it says Nagano Bobsled
2. I got a coin that says North Shore Animal League. On the front it says Dog lover's Good Luck Charm and on the back the same thing except it say's Cat Lover's Good Luck Charm.
3. I got Chucky Cheese tokens from 1994.
that's it so far.

I don't think this is an official coin so it is probably medal with only metal-content value.
$5 for nickel or copper, $20 for silver, $100 for gold.

A token with no value,

3. I got Chucky Cheese tokens from 1994.
Brass is about $0.25
Not Brass is about $1.00

Hi, I have a 1974 Canadian penny that I cannot find a match to. It has the same picture of Elizabeth II on it, but the difference is the name "Elizabeth II" is on the right side and says "D.G.REG.F.D.1974" on the left. Now on the back going around the top half is says "NEW PENNY" with a picture of a crown that has iron gates coming down below it, linked chains on each side and the number 1 at the bottom. I appreciate any information, thanks a bunch!

That is a British penny not Canadian.

About $0.05.
