$20 Dollar Bill Error?

Do you have note or currency and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.

Hello

I was wanting to find out if you would be able to help me
I have 8 consecutive 20 dollar bills without the little 20 printed on the back of any of them
I have enclosed a picture of the front of one and the back of another
would you be able to tell me what they are worth
any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank You
Belinda

Error 20'S

Wow she linked pictures and everything.
And if you thought that would simplify it you were wrong.

This was beyond my knowledge, beyond my Web search, even beyond my books. So I looked into my network of collectors who also never saw this error.

The small yellow "20"s on the back is an anti-copying security feature,
--Check for the nylon thread on the front to the left of the left side-dark seal.
--Check for the watermark of Jackson's head on the front to the right of the right-sided green seal.
--Hold the bill in front of a light to see the hidden features.

If they are not there then you have counterfeit bills. Which also has value.

If they are there then the bills are real and according to my source each bill is worth $200.00 for a total of $1,600.00. (This is only an educated guess since yours are the first reported.)

Thanks for the visit Belinda and sorry for the long delay but it is a new bill and a strange error.

If I have more updates or find them on eBay I'll post a link but I'd try to sell half of them to a local dealer before more are found.

Here is a cool error that sold on eBay for $10,100 in May 2003 and now sold at $25,300.
It's called the "banana note" and has a Del Monte sticker that fell on it midway during printing and was not caught and destroyed.

Do you have note or currency and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.

1757 dollars worth, for Comments/Questions click here.:

1995 One Dollar bill in good condition, crease down the middle but flat from the book its been in for 10 + years. it has the front printed onto the back so you can clearly see washington's face on both sides, from bottom to top i would say over 90 % transfer or better. I believe you call this a reverse offset printing. Serial # D28775449F

We have a $20 bill with what looks like a panther on it. It it jumping over the "T" of the word twenty on the face side middle right side in the phrase "USA TWENTY" and is the same color as the outside boarder. The series is 2004 and mint is G3. My boyfriend is a pressman and can definitely tell is is a print issue. Have you ever heard of this or heard out a print issue like this?

This of course is not possible. This could be an ink smear error or damage, without a clear image it is difficult to tell.

They average $25.00 in fine.

I got a $20 at work today, circulated, but it's misaligned on the front.
The print for the front of the 20 is all the way at the top, leaving barely a millimeter, but the back is completely normal. It also looks like it might be at a slight angle as well on the front.
It's 2004, serial EL20374585 A
Is this worth anything?

It happens when the bill folds onto itself and then gets cut.

Hi,

I have had a 20 dollar bill for about 5 years that is a 2004 issue. This bill has everything right about it exept for one thing, there is no green stamp from of the Department Of Treasury of the danomination amount in text on the front side. I was wondering if this is special becuase I have not been able to find any information on it. Please contact me at the URL given with any information that could help.

Thanks

This sounds like a clever fake.
It is a real ten someone modified, careful it may be illegal to use if you try and pass it off as a 100.

The off-center does not bring any extra value.
The star may be special but I would need the full serial number.

I have a 20 dollar bill, serial#: B 63155177E Now the bottom right hand corner apparently was folded up when getting printed because part of the serial number is printed on the back. The B6315 is on the back, so the only way to see the complete number is to fold that corner up. Is this worth anything more that 20 dollars? You can view the bill at: http://www.impelhosting.com/money

I have a guy trying to sell me Two rare united states twenty dollar bills, 2006 series as seen on the picture, they have serial numbers that start with triple six and google does not even have these. The photography of these rare bills alone could worth a nice sum to the right person, I have only seen a one dollar bill on ebay with simular serial numbers and the seller got a little over six grand, so with that said if your looking to trade come with something of value or simply make a nice cash offer and we can possibly negotiate. Should I buy them of blow him off?
