No finds this weekend despite the fact I made an effort to use only cash. So it is back to the vaults with the last of the H countries. That is right, Hungary land of something and Rubik Cubes.

or even country names, since they were often listed with original spellings. Just trying to match the coin symbols with country symbols is tough.Here's the stats...

ReplyDeleteNot sure sometimes like in Great Britain they use that abbreviated title:
D G REG F D
d.g.; dei gratia, "by the grace of God"
Reg; Regina - "queen"
f.d.; fid. def. - "defender of the faith"
Sometimes titles are more important than names.
Sometimes the American names are completely different than the country of origin (Magyar = Hungarian).

ReplyDeleteIt is now changed to Magyarország (Hungary) and you can still use the old one too.
