There are eleven 2009 Canadian quarters if you include the varieties. All but this one were for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. So while these are less common over 20 million were made so they are not rare.
The iconic Caribou has been on Canadian quarters for years but recently it is not the most common. The Royal Canadian Mint makes so many special commemorative coins that their standard coin is now just an after thought.
