I have seen more star notes than I get in my change. While standing and waiting to checkout everyday at lunch I see so many people paying with star notes. I am not one to start conversations so I let them pass it on but on occasion I get it back in my change.
This is a more common star note but there is no way for me to remember which are rarer. Of course I can go to US Paper Money Info's
Serial Number page but again my smartphone is acting dumb. All star notes are worthy of collecting but it would be nice to know which ones are a better investment. One quick way is the number of leading zeroes. The more zeroes the better and more likely it is a smaller printing.
