2009-D Native American Dollar

Have a dollar coin and want to know how much it's worth? Leave a comment

Maybe I showed this one maybe I did not either way here is a very pretty dollar I got in my change recently.

Okay so the main reason I showed off this coin is that it was so shiny. Few of these dollars coins are worth saving even if I have not got one yet because they tarnish quickly. This is what I consider an upgrade coin. Even if I already have one this one is in better shape so I will switch them out. The old 2009-D will go back into circulation.

Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 1 Dollar-Native American / United States
Year: 2009 D (Edge normal)
Mintage: 33,880,000
Metal: 88.5% Copper, 6% Zinc, 3.5% Manganese, and 2% Nickel
Value: $1.00 in F-12

Do you have a dollar coin and want to know how much it's worth? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.

  4. How can I ask a question and post a picture?

    You can ask a question.
You cannot post pictures in this comments section.

You can use a free photo site or since you have a Blogger profile use Picasa or Blogger itself and then copy & paste the link.

I have no idea why your other comments did not show up.

  5. Thanks for answering so quickly! I'll try to figure out what you said about posting the picture through my blogger profile, but this is all very new to me I've never done anything in a blog before.
Sorry but I'm really very stupid all this.

How do why ask the question though? Do I just ask it by posting a comment under another entry item? If it is a different topic would'nt it be better to have its own entry?

--No, If you have a blogger profile I thought you also had a blog.
Blogger, Picasa, and Google are the same company so you get all of that free when you sign up.

Do I just ask it by posting a comment under another entry item?
--Ask wherever you want. All the comments get to me instantly by email. There is no such thing as off-topic, (unless you want to talk about non-coin/currency items).

  7. Speaking of dollar coins; for the first time ever, I got dollar coins as change from an actual human transaction without asking for them or anything. I payed for a 6 dollar sandwich with a 20 dollar bill and got a 10 and 3 dollar coins back. At least one of them was a Susan B. Anthony dollar too.
