Finally! Got this non-American, non-Canadian coin as a quarter in my change just this week. It is not a surprise that it is a British coin. Behind the U.S. and Canada the most common find for me is coins from Great Britain.
So the drought is over now let the flood begin.
These are very different from the current ten pence coins and slightly different from older ten pence.

I didn't expect to take out quarters so exact change on my regular commute got messed up. I know rookie mistake but I got use to not carrying extra coins.

I finally got the 2012 quarter today. I actually found two of them! I also found some more "D" American state quarters, I just need 6 more and I will have the entire collection complete with the State Quarters.

Yes. Hopefully the New Mexico one shows up in my change soon. The designs for the Maine and Hawaii one looks cool. The Alaska looks like another quarter with an animal in front of mountains.

Hey Tyler--The only 2012 coins I've gotten are a D penny and a Chester Arthur D dollar coin. So you both are lucky to have seen the El Yunque quarter.

Finding the pennies are also cool because finding them new is the best for high grades.
I just got both the P and D 2012 Chester Arthur Presidential Dollar coin today. I remember last year the 2011 dimes were released, I found a bunch in my change. No luck so far for 2012.

Hi I just found a Susan b Anthony ten pence silver in color side one has Elizabeth 2 d•g•f•d•1996 with a pic of queen Elizabeth hair up crown on top. Other side has prancing lion with crown on head and says ten pence on top and the number 10 on bottom. I'm curious as to know how much its worth if anything at. Thank you

ReplyDeleteYou are using confusing terms, as far as I know there are no Susan B. Anthony British coins that are colorized.
What you are describing is a normal 10 pence worth about $0.15 in the U.S.
