ReplyDeletePMD, if this was a struck through grease error it would not change the shape but the tail in 9 is out of shape.
This afternoon I found a 1934 Canadian penny. King George the V looked in very good shape.

ReplyDeleteI've heard of Doubling on that year but not of the Queen's back. I suspect this is not true doubling. No extra value.
That said doubling does exist and this may be a new find but still in circulated condition about $1.00.
