First 2015 coin. The 2015-P Homestead quarter is the first of the American the Beautiful series for this year. Released on February 9, 2015 it took almost two months before I found one in my change from a local fast food joint, cannot remember which one.
The Heritage Center in the Homestead National Monument of America of Nebraska is dedicated to honor the Homestead Act of 1862. That Act allowed certain people get land for free. The design features a period home, a pump for water, and grains.

Have a gold plated CA state quarter. What's the history?! I can't find much about it. It looks like it's part of the states series. Can't remember the year, don't have it on me. Any info you've got would be great. ! It's in mint condition

ReplyDeleteIt is a normal state quarter that has been damaged with gold-plating.
It has no extra value.

Hi, my name is Michelle. I have a 2006 Nebraska state quarter that I believe is missing the clad, it's actually tri-colored on both sides. the coin also has an extra line on the left side of the formation just below the tip and maybe even an extra oxen's head pulling the wagon. Please any info would be great. thank you
ReplyDeleteThis is Michelle again with the 2006 Nebraska coin, I forgot to say that the mint mark on it is a P. Thats All

ReplyDeleteMissing clad layers on both sides would be around $150.00 to start. This has to be seen in hand as this type of error can be faked. A local coin shop or coin club could help you find a definitive answer.
