My newest Canadian coin is the latest issue. They are still making Canadian quarters with the caribou on it. I do know if any other types are circulating but at least I git this shiny new one.
Since no more cents are being issued these twenty five cents coins are easier to find. Canadians are round up and down so using bigger coins is becoming easier. Call for the end of five cents is growing so it may be possible that ten and twenty five cent coin will be the only ones left to find.

Do you have any
Canadian coin and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I
will do my best to find out the price and history for you.
Technically, if the 5 cent is eliminated here in Canada, there will be no 25 cent coin. Although there is a lot of commotion about eliminating the 5 cent coin, that idea is only getting passed around parliament as we Canadians have no choice in the matter; once they decide on something, we hear about it at tax time.
ReplyDeleteIt is my hope that Canada doesn't turn into NZ where they've eliminated everything below 10, that would be idiotic in my mind.

ReplyDelete--Well luckily in a computer age it is possible to keep the quarter, rounding price to .10 or .25.
