Clear Plastic Disc

Instead of a dime I got this clear plastic disc. It is dime size and was very dirty at the time I got it. I thought it has some writing on it saw I cleaned it before taking a picture. Once I cleaned it I laughed because it was just a clear disc.

This one was clinging to another dime so it looked like two dimes but I got robbed of ten cents. I doubt there is even one cent worth of plastic here. Well it happens not everything you get in your change is going to be cool. Actually most things are common so this odd thing is kind of interesting.

Here are the stats for this token and the coin itself...
Type/Country: Clear Plastic Disc / Unknown
Year: Unknown
Mintage: Unknown
Material: Plastic
Weight: 0.35 grams
Diameter: 19 millimeters
Thickness: 1/32 inch
Value: $0.00

Did you find something in your change and want to know its value? Leave a comment/question and I will do my best to find out the price and history for you.

  1. That's kinda neat! I'd take that over a dime just for the adventure of trying to figure out what it is :)

I get weird things all the time from this one bank - including a guardian angel token!

  2. @J. Money

It is always fun to find odd things in my change.

I read your post about that bank of yours. I think it that they must work with local businesses that dump money there. It would not get closely inspected unless it gets to a federal bank.
