Not the best of notes but it is still a star note.
To remind everyone modern star notes are identified with a little star at the end of the serial number instead of the usually letter. When the regular notes are damaged in some way the Bureau of Printing & Engraving will not try to make exact duplicates of the damaged notes instead they make star notes as needed. It saves time and cost plus it allows for more accurate record keeping.
This note was printed at Fort Worth, notice the little FW at the top right corner where the face plate number is being cornered. There is another thing to notice. Can you spot the difference?
The difference is the size of that face plate number. The smaller number on the left note is done using the old printing machine. The slightly bigger numbers on the right note uses the new Super Orlof Intaglio machines that can be retrofitted to older equipment.
Why the new machines?
They can produce 10 colors and they can theoretically make 50-subject sheets unlike the current 32-subject sheets. Starting in 2006 notes started to be made with new machines but as far as I can tell the entire Fort Worth $20 notes were made using the old machine.

Some 1972 reverses were made using proof dies.
Some 1974-D and 1977-D were made in silver.
Both errors are rare and do not exactly look proof.
This probably still leaves some confusion so tell me what you think you have and maybe I can clarify.

$20 star note misprinted bill. It was cut right about the 20 which leaves a lot of space at the bottom of the bill. FW F 125 in top right corner. Series 2004. Serial #: EK00160418*. Crisp bill but has been folded once.

Can you tell me if a 1996 note with serial number AB 27178010 B with a B2 underneath the serial number and a H 1 in the lower left hand corner with an H32 under the right side of the picture is worth anything? Unfortunately since most star notes are just a few dollars above face most collectors do not bother to buy them.
You try separating the rarest and selling them on Heritage.

So unless your great at eBay just use them as if they were normal since neither will go up in value for another 30 years.

Nice I've been looking for auctions for the Middle variety. The conclusion is that it is not an official variety if you want the maximum value you need an expert on Mexican coins, unfortunately I do not know any, maybe check coin forums.
Overall good buy for $40.

I have a 1964 dime, with a mint mark that i can't read without finding my magnafier. Its v good cond and is an error coin, that wasn't struck on center, it has a small flat spot on the side. Was wondering if it had any extra value, thanks in advance.

About $22.00, I cannot say what the back thing is, sounds like print transfer from some other source.
That said if you want to put a good picture online somewhere then drop a link here I'll gladly take a second look.

As more are graded the value will drop, it is a common occurrence among notes. But it should not get below $5.00 for a year or so.

Both bills are misaligned in print (front and back), but not missing any print. They are crisp as a potato chip. Do you know if I have anything of value?

I have a $20 star note serial #IK02794133*. It has a D 381 at the top right which I assume is Denver? I'm not well versed in paper money. It isn't in great shape. All the corners are crisp but there is a noticeable fold in the middle as well as a less noticeable "wallet" fold. I got it from an ATM. How much is this worth? Also, would a local bullion retailer be interested in such things?

About $22.00 in circulated condition this is very difficult to sell so almost no one will buy it.
